Evangelism Equipping

SXSW, Austin, TX | March 18-21, 2027

Purpose: Share the love of Jesus with young people who may feel far from God, right in the middle of one of the world’s biggest cultural events.

This short-term trip happens during SXSW (South by Southwest), a huge annual festival in Austin, Texas, that draws over 300,000 people from around the world for cutting-edge music, art, film and technology. It’s a creative environment full of people who might never step inside a church.

During this trip, you will:

  • Take part in training, worship and genuine Christ-centered community with passionate young believers from across the country.

  • Share the message of Jesus through street outreach, artistic expression, prayer and intentional conversations that lead to spiritual conversations.

  • This trip is best for: Young adults who care deeply about their generation and don’t want them to miss out on the hope of Jesus. This trip is raw, real and powerful, and you’ll come home ready to reach the people in your own life.

What is a short-term mission trip?

Some things you can’t learn sitting at home. You have to see them. Feel them. Live them.

That’s what a short-term trip is all about. Serving alongside an established global partner, you will have a life-changing opportunity to share Jesus’ love and experience cross-cultural ministry.

You don’t need special training or all the right answers; just a willingness to show up.

Here’s what happens when you take a short-term mission trip:

  • We join God in His transformational work, learning and coming alongside our Global Partners.

  • We are personally transformed and shaped through the experience.

  • We carry that transformation back home with us, committing to live out this transformation in our own communities and neighborhoods.
